Red & Silver 

Margaret Emdal - 9'



A film about flying, falling, and finding a friend. Red makes a journey from south to north, from warm to cold, from light to darkness. The world has great beauty, but it can also be a dangerous place. After a long and terrible journey, Red is falling down in the snow. Then, there is Silver... the two friends are travelling south, and new problems occur. The film is dedicated to Mother Earth and all her creatures with wings.



Director not to present this film for Public, the Jury can award the film through private screening.

Margaret Emdal

Margaret Emdal was born in Stranda/Norway. Studied Visual Communication in Münster/Germany. She has been working as a graphic designer and animator for different media and TV. She has also been teaching art and animation at different schools. She is now living and working in Oslo as an independent animation filmmaker and graphic designer. She has made the animated shorts Heartattack (1992) and Tango Caramba (1997) as well as a great number of animated titles for TV and film.
