Nadav Heyman

Nadav Heyman is a writer, dancer, and filmmaker currently based in Los Angeles. As a dancer, he was a solo performer and founding member of Ate9 Dance Company. His written pieces have been seen on the stages of Juilliard, Boston Conservatory, and Cornish College of the Arts. In 2015, Nadav was commissioned as a guest artist by the University of Maryland School of Performance Art. In 2016, he was one of ten artists invited to participate in the Koumaria Art Residency in Greece. His goal is to continue researching and observing the world through dance, story, and film.

"One" is a very special piece to me. Besides the collaboration with Julia Planine-Troiani (choreographer), who I've admired for many years, there is a message that the film carries which I find important. The message is that as we strive to be exceptional, we have to remember the beautiful intimacy in our ordinariness.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Nadav
