Synopsis



Anita Evelyn Stokes Hayford was ambassador for Ghana in Italy, Croatia, Greece, Slovenia and President of the Administrative Council of World Food Programme (WFP). She has promoted and favoured several development projects for the most disadvantaged areas of Africa, particularly for women and children. During her journey through her roots, she reflects on slavery, education, women as leaders, access to health, memories, hope and faith. An extraordinary journey between colours, art, sounds, smiles, solidarity and friendship.

Lia Beltrami Giovanazzi



Lia Beltrami is the director of 39 documentaries in Europe, Africa and the Middle East; she won several awards for her films. In 1997, she founded Religion Today Film festival, the first festival about interreligious dialogue. She was the artistic director of film and photo exhibition at the Vatican Pavilion at Expo Milan 2015, which was awarded as the Pavilion which best developed the theme of the exhibition and now she is working for an exhibition at Kazakistan Expo 2017. She is the CEO of the production company Aurora Vision and advisor for Dhaka Film Festival Bangladesh and Nepalgunj International Film Festival Nepal.
