Anita Evelyn Stokes Hayford was ambassador for Ghana in Italy, Croatia, Greece, Slovenia and President of the Administrative Council of World Food Programme (WFP). She has promoted and favoured several development projects for the most disadvantaged areas of Africa, particularly for women and children. During her journey through her roots, she reflects on slavery, education, women as leaders, access to health, memories, hope and faith. An extraordinary journey between colours, art, sounds, smiles, solidarity and friendship.
