Synopsis



In the hope of escaping the ghost of his broken relationship and the dark sides in him that are responsible for it, Isaac travels through the Welsh countryside. When he finds accommodation in a remote B&B hidden in the hills, he thinks he has arrived in the right place to spend some time reflecting on the mess he left behind. But his stay takes an unexpected turn.

Joachim Neef



Joachim Neef is a Director and Writer. Originally form Germany, where he attended the Berlin Screenwriting School before spending two years working for the Wolfgang Pfeiffer Film GmbH as a trainee and later production assistant, working from script development through to experimental forms of documentary. Durring that time, he was
also working as 1st Assistant Director and Editor, both for the company and freelance. He joined The London Film School in 2013 and after specializing in editing and directing he completed his studies as Master of Art in Filmmaking in 2016. BLACK MOUNTAINS is his graduation film.
