Synopsis



A Russian-Jewish immigrant is searching for his Germaneness and wonders about why his family is celebrating Christmas with a stolen Christmas tree. An autobiographical soul-searching through suburban Germany.

Robert Schulzmann



Robert Schulzmann, born 1986 in Riga is a documentarist and cinematographer living in Hamburg and Berlin. After graduating from film studies and art history he works as a cinematographer for documentaries and commercials. His own documentary films are often connected to his multi-cultural heritage and telling stories about his personal environment. Since 2017 he’s studying cinematography at the Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF.
