Synopsis



Nani Kama Mama (No one like mother) is a movie about poverty, self responsibility and street justice in Tanzania. The young man Pesambili lives with his mother in poverty. When his mother becomes seriously ill, Pesambili leaves his village to seek for money for the life save medicine. On his Journey to a little harbor town he meets a storyteller on the marketplace, who tells the children in the neighborhood an old tanzanian fairytale. Passing by and listening to the story of a King, a monster and a little boy Pesambili makes a fateful decision.
