Synopsis



Son of a Beninese immigrant, Solomon, 35 years old works as taxi driver in Strasbourg. Cut off from his family roots, Solomon is about to donate to a museum his Voodoo costume inherited from his dead father. But a young street-dancer is going to remind him that the ancestor soul still remains...

Ange-Régis Hounkpatin



Ange-Régis Hounkpatin was born and raised in Cotonou, Benin. He moves to France after high school in order to study litterature, then eventually enters the Femis school for cinema in 2009. His feature films are influenced by an imagination rooted in this bi-cultural background. His feature films are influenced by an imagination rooted in this bi-cultural background. His final-year student film RÊVES DE LIONS got the Youth Award at the Côté court Festival of Pantin in 2014. CAGE was selected at the Champs Elysées Film Festival 2016. VINDICTE was shot in Benin and was selected at the Paris Courts Devant Festival 2016. PANTHEON, his fifth short-movie, will be broadcast on the channel France 2.
