Synopsis



What has Bondi done to my brother? is a documentary about two estranged brothers, Joe and Tom. Growing up, older brother Joe had no time for Tom and cared only for money and success; inevitably landing his dream finance job in Sydney. But then Joe moved to Bondi Beach, quit his job, grew his hair and opened a vegan cafe. After years of hardly speaking, Tom thought he finally had a chance to connect with his brother… So he hopped on a plane to Bondi.

Morgan Wright



Morgan is an Adelaide-based director, whose work aims to portray unique stories with a distinctive visual style. After several years of travelling the world, Morgan completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Digital Media) at Flinders University. There he partnered with Solomon Scopazzi (Fragment Films) and together they have produced several short documentaries and narrative based web advertisements, most notably; Rise (Honourable Mention at the OzAsia Film Festival) and Forgotten Flavours. During his studies Morgan was the construction manager on short films The Crane Wife and The Little Girl, both of which received awards and nominations in the field of production design at the South Australian Screen Awards in 2013 and 2014 respectively. In 2014, Morgan founded his own production company Repeater Productions, whose debut project Neverland, is a six-part documentary series about the world’s longest living people and their cultures. He is set to shoot in 2016/17. Throughout 2016, Morgan has produced a series of music videos and is developing several documentary concepts.
